Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do you charge to check ears for wax?

Chris will check your ears for free, but if he removes wax, there will be a charge of $15 per ear.

What’s your return policy?

If you are dissatisfied with the hearing aids, you may return them before your 30 day trial is up.

Do you take walk ins?

Yes, aside from holidays, we will take walk ins anytime Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Do you sell supplies?

Yes, we carry disposable and rechargeable batteries, wax guards, tubing, dryer kits, battery testers, cleaning brushes, cleaning wires, and Miracell oil.

How often should I come in for check ups?

Depending on how quickly your ears become full of wax or every 3-4 months.

How often should I get my hearing tested?

It is best to be tested annually. Sometimes our hearing changes with time.

If my hearing loss is minimal, do I really need hearing aids?

It is advised to wear hearing aids in most cases because you do not want to lose more discrimination or the ability to recognize the words you hear. If someone with a lower discrimination does not wear hearing aids, their ability to understand words will become worse over time.

How long does a hearing test take?

Typically 45 minutes. If you need hearing aids the appointment will be closer to an hour and a half to have time for the fitting.

Will I get to try the hearing aids when I come in for my test?

Yes, we usually have enough hearing aids in stock for you to try a pair the same day.
